A replacement facility for an existing school,
the design takes into account middle school concerns with high-ceilinged
corridors radiating from a central commons area providing unobstructed
visual access. General curriculum classes are distributed through
3 wings, one for each grade. The gymnasium and exploratory classes,
which are used by all students, are positioned in a fourth central
wing. Administrative offices, the Media Center, and the Cafetorium
form the core of the school. A lively, attractive environment
was achievied within a long-lasting and tough building materials.
