The focus of a three school complex on Whitmarsh Island supporting 750 K–5 students (900 capacity). Sited between an existing elementary school and a middle school constructed at the same time, Marshpoint Elementary has been highly praised by members of the community, the Savannah–Chatham County Board of Public Education, administrative staff and teachers. Although not originally intended for future site adaptation, the Board of Education contracted to have the building slightly modified and constructed as the hub of a second multi–school complex.
