CMA was
the lead firm of a nationally recognized design team for the expansion
and renovation of the Bull Street Public Library. To meet the
needs of the 21st century, the library was added a 34,000 square
foot, two-story addition, and reconfigured the existing spaces.
The addition crosses a permanently closed street to merge the
site with Thomas Square Park. New landscaping and public spaces
integrate the two environments. Facilities include expanded stacks,
a new children's reading room, an adult services area, new administrative
offices, a new periodicals section, and various study and work
rooms. |
