The Chatham Effingham Liberty
Regional Library Board selected CMA to design a new 8,250 s.f.
library. The building, designed with flexibility of use in mind,
can be adapted for almost any library function or service without
extensive or costly alterations. The design can readily accommodate
future equipment and furniture changes. Design considerations
included integrated computer wiring, acoustically absorbant materials,
maximizing flexibilty by limiting columns, energy conservation
in both lighting and HVAC, as well as selected materials with
a long life cycle |
