This private residence is sited to take advantage of wide views over saltwater marsh out to the Atlantic ocean. The home makes structural use of oversized brick to provide a solid, old-world feel. Architect John Mendrala acomplished the client's objective to have contemporary spaces and an older European appearance with his creative use of brick, wood, and stone both outside and inside.
